Itinerary

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by True Wanderer representatives and proceed to Kandy. En route, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Check into your resort in Kandy, then visit the Royal Botanical Garden and enjoy souvenir shopping while exploring the city's rich culture. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and watch a cultural show. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kandy.

Start your day with a climb to Sigiriya Rock Fortress. On the way to Kandy, visit Dambulla Cave Temple and the Matale Spice Garden, where you'll have lunch and learn about Sri Lankan spices. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Kandy.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic train ride from Kandy to Nanuoya (subject to availability). Visit the 9 Arch Bridge and meet your chauffeur at Nanuoya station. Proceed to Pedro Tea Factory in Nuwara Eliya for a tour on Ceylon tea manufacturing. In the evening, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya, including Gregory Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before traveling to Galle, enjoying panoramic mountain views along the way. Upon arrival, take a city tour of this charming colonial town, visiting the 300-year-old fort, maritime museum, Bodhi tree, reclining Buddha statue, and historic lighthouse. In the evening, enjoy a night stroll around Galle Fort. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay in Galle.

Start your day early with whale watching in Mirissa, best enjoyed from November to April. Return to shore by afternoon, then visit Galle Dutch Fort in the evening. Explore the colonial architecture, Maritime Museum, lighthouse, Bodhi tree, and reclining Buddha statue. Return to the hotel and relax.

Today is your last day on the paradise isle and indulge in a lavish breakfast spread before travelling to Colombo. Optional – En-route to Colombo, you can part in a Colombo city tour from Fort and Pettah covering the commercial and residential areas of the city whilst sighting the key landmarks – Galle Face Green, old parliament, the lighthouse clock tower, Colombo harbour, Gangarama Temple, Independence Square and the Viharamahadevi Park.
