Itinerary

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, True Wanderer representatives will welcome you and transfer you to Kandy. En route, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Check into your Kandy resort, explore the Royal Botanical Garden, and enjoy souvenir shopping. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and attend a cultural show. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Start early with a climb to Sigiriya Rock Fortress. En route to Kandy, visit Dambulla Cave Temple and Matale Spice Garden for lunch. Arrive in Kandy, check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, take a scenic train ride from Kandy to Nanuoya (subject to availability). Visit the 9 Arch Bridge and proceed to Pedro Tea Factory in Nuwara Eliya for a tea-making tour. Enjoy an evening sightseeing tour of Gregory Lake. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

After breakfast, drive 3.5 hours from Nuwara Eliya to Yala, passing scenic landscapes. Check into your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari in Yala National Park. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and drive 2 hours to Galle on Sri Lanka's south coast. Explore the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, wander through colonial streets, and relax at a French café. Spend the afternoon at the beach before checking into your hotel in Galle for the night, enjoying the blend of history, culture, and coastal beauty.

Early morning, transfer to Mirissa for whale watching (best from November to April). Return to Galle in the afternoon, explore the colonial remnants of the fort, and relax at your hotel. Overnight stay in Galle.

Transfer from Galle to Bentota, visiting Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery en route. In the evening, enjoy a scenic boat ride on the Madu River, exploring local temples, cinnamon estates, and mangrove forests. Return to your hotel for dinner and relaxation. Overnight in Bentota.

After breakfast, check out and explore Colombo's highlights, including Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, and local markets. Then, head to the airport, allowing about 1 hour and 40 minutes for the transfer. Arrive at least 3 hours before your flight.
