Itinerary
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you'll be warmly greeted by representatives, who will assist you through passport control and customs formalities. Following this, you'll be transferred to your hotel in Cairo for check-in (Standard check-in time is at 15:00). You'll have the remainder of the day at leisure to relax and settle in. Depart Cairo for Alexandria, a 2.5-hour drive. Explore the Catacombs of Kom el Shouqafa, a 30m high marvel in Aswan pink granite. See relics at the Greco-Roman Museum. Visit Pompey’s Pillar, a 25m red Aswan granite column honoring Emperor Diocletian. Take a photo stop at Qaitbay Fort, a 15th-century fortress on Pharos Island.
