Itinerary

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be welcomed by True Wanderer representatives and proceed to Kandy, stopping at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route. Check into your Kandy resort, visit the Royal Botanical Garden, and explore the city's culture and history while souvenir shopping. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and enjoy a cultural show. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Kandy.

Start your day early with a climb to Sigiriya Rock Fortress. En route to Kandy, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple and the Matale Spice Garden, where you'll enjoy lunch and learn about Sri Lankan spices. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Kandy.

After breakfast, take a scenic train ride from Kandy to Nanuoya (subject to availability). Visit the 9 Arch Bridge and meet your chauffeur at Nanuoya station. Proceed to Pedro Tea Factory for a tour, then enjoy a sightseeing tour of Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Start your day with breakfast at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya. Depart for Yala, a 3.5-hour journey through scenic landscapes. Check-in at your Yala hotel and enjoy some leisure time. In the late afternoon, go on a jeep safari in Yala National Park. Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and drive 2 hours and 15 minutes to Galle. Upon arrival, explore the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, with its colonial-era buildings, boutique shops, and art galleries. Relax at a French café and then spend the afternoon at the beach. Check into your hotel in Galle and enjoy the evening. Overnight stay in Galle.

Early morning, transfer to Mirissa for whale watching, the best time being from November to April. Return to shore in the afternoon and head back to Galle. Explore colonial landmarks within the Galle Fort, then return to your hotel for relaxation. Overnight stay in Galle.

Transfer from Galle to Bentota, stopping at Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery en route. In the evening, enjoy a scenic boat ride along the Madu River, exploring local temples, cinnamon estates, and nature resorts. Return to your hotel in Bentota for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and explore Colombo, visiting landmarks like Gangaramaya Temple and Independence Square. Proceed to the airport, allowing at least 3 hours before your flight. The drive from Bentota to Colombo airport takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
